I need a tool to remove trees.
I need a quick way to remove trees in my save, they are way to many to remove one by one.

Just select the first Tree to remove and then hold down the left Mouse Button and move your Cursor over the ones that you want to remove while holding the left Mouse button and they wiil go away quickly without accendentally removing any other objects.

I think with the Move it - Mod you can delete trees.

Move it? ok

i use move it or better bulldoze tool. move it is an essential mod and adds many extremely useful elements to the game but for deleting trees and other things quickly better bulldoze tool is easier and more intuitive to use

If not wanting to use any mods, one useful trick is to zoom to ground level, see the forest horizontally, then hold left click to buldoze them

Just because I ended up here with a google search looking for the solution, you should mark Move It as the correct answer. It works perfectly and will saves others a few seconds trying to figure out the correct suggestion from this thread.

Thanks for the solution guys!

If anybody is returning here, and you have a tree brush, adjust the size of your brush and intensity, then hold the right mouse button to remove.

If anyone is returning here (2): MoveIt!'s marquee tool can rectangle around trees and mass remove them. But, it's a rectangle. For removing trees from highways and train tracks, brush tools work much better. Right-clicking with Forestry Brush works perfectly. Thank you very much for the heads up TDub1511!

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
