Why are my offices european stlye?

I'm still pretty new to the game so maybe I'm missing something simple but does anyone know why the offices I am building are in the european stlye instead of looking like modern ones?

The map type determines it. You chose a European themed map.

There is a mod that lets you change it if you like.

Does the building type change if I pick a boreal map for example? If not then I'd use the mod.

You do not need a mod for this. In-game just hit the Content Manager -> Styles and tick the European/Vanilla style on and you can construct vanilla buildings on European maps and the other way around.

No sometimes the style not spawn even you choose it in content manager, I've this issue.

it spawns according to map type, unless you set a style for the area, which overrides it for that area

in a vanilla map if you want European buildings you have to create a district and change the style of that district to European, if you do not do this you will never have European buildings growing in your city.

Are modded buildings recognized as European or not? And are there other map styles likes Asian?

It depends on what settings the author of the asset gives it, and the only vanilla themes are regular and European. If you get the building themes mod you can get Asian buildings and make your own theme.
