How to connect roads to Floating Cafe, Fishing Island, etc?

How is this done? These parks that go on beaches show they need roads, but I can't get anything to connect to them.

You only need to bring a road stub at least close enough for the not connected icon to disappear.
Edit: as well there is no way to get the citizens or tourists out to the asset that's in the water of these assets you mention.

The "Parkify" mod by BloodyPenguin says it adds boats to these pieces. I don't know whether the boats are just for looks or if they actually carry people back and forth. But, it's worth a try. Parkify may also let you use the park paths to connect these structures when placed in a park.
