thank you for answering. No, it is not working: Neither the export nor the import view does highlight the warehouses. I think, they really forgot this...
I noticed though, when a warehouse is freshly built it takes some time for the warehouse to start importing/exporting goods. But when you say the warehouses exist for some time now (as I guess you haven't built them all in the last five minutes) and there aren't any issues with outside connections in your city, then you sould see them there in the outside connections-screen either importing or exporting something. Maybe it's the industry dlc being responsible?
And yeah, you are right: we should be able to see them all via that in/out screen. That seems to have been forgotten by the devs.
A case for a support ticket or suggestion/feedback!
Note It! by Keallu “can … be used as a much more advanced location-based notebook with easy pinpointing of buildings,..”
I re-name my warehouses “Farm (S) 1”, “Farm (M) 2” etc. and then mark the warehouse by creating a location-based note with the same name.
When you need to find a particular warehouse, just open the Location Notes, zoom in fairly close, then click on the name of the warehouse you want to go to. The screen view will jump straight to the building.
