Pedestrian Path always ends with a fence
I'm building Pedestrian paths for the first time, and I've built one as a bridge over a river.
But I see Cims about to cross the river and then change their mind and walk away from my beautiful footbridge in favor of the road bridge.
Is this because the end of the footbridge has a fence around it?
I don't know if this is blocking their ability to get off the bridge.
I can't figure out how to place a segment free of a fence so they can exit the bridge.
There's only one option of paved path given in the Vanilla version.

I'd appreciate any help.

The path should end at a roadside pavement somewhere and if not, there's nowhere for anyone using the path to go to. What reason do they have to cross this bridge?
They have to get home from an industrial area.
I figured it out. I needed to lower the end of the bridge slightly and the fence disappeared.
Then build an overpass near the end to attract them.
Now they are swarming on my footbridge like busy ants!

Glad you figured it out. You can hit the "Home" key and it will lower the path to ground level.

Gonna have to try that. I love pathways and never read this before or knew this. Thanks.
another tip that took me months if not years to realise, is when building footpaths, turn off all of the grid snapping options. You can build much easier without it, as you can plop the path much closer to the roads/sidewalks making the path much more functional.

Thanks for your helpful tips, everyone!

Lol this is one of the first things I do when starting Cities, turn them all off. Though I do use all the tools My habit is to default them off whenever I start.

Oh how disappointed I was when hitting the home button did nothing. It must be a mod thing :(
Might be, I'm sorry. I didn't even consider the possibility I've been using it so long.
I just checked and it IS a mod, "Fine Road Tool 1.3.7" is what i have. There are several options one can choose.

Sorry for causing the frustration.
