For only 20€ more I'll get X and just a few bucks and I could switch Y for Z...
so a limit was essential and 16GB RAM is essential these days and fits the limits.
I only got 2 Slots so upgrading would mean investing 200-250€ again
Yeah it's the best method to put a strict spend budget, you got a good spread over the whole machine with that kit, should see you well wth most pc operations not just gaming.
Uprgrading rams gonna have to take a back seat for awhile, you managed to show restraint before so assets shouldn't be an issue.
That should do you well for awhile. It should handle 1080p with any game.
Bro i got like 8gig of ddr3 and a stupid hard drive. my pc handels it just fine.
your pc will be great for Cities Skylines
The 970 EVO seems to be the choice most people are making for m.2 nvme

Look more at the smaller tests like 4k and such. Those are the workloads you will be using.
I already returned my Optane drive as it was ridiculously overpriced for the performance. It was a little faster than my Samsung 960 Pro, and my replacement Intel 660P was a tad slower than the 960 Pro, but half the price.
But overall, you can't tell which one is faster without a stopwatch to tell you it is faster. I've switched to Intel as they all have 5-year warranty, and Intel has the best customer service of anyone I've dealt with over the years. I even told them I blew up a $500 CPU and they still replaced it for me for free. Even paid shipped the CPU too, and had me reuse the box with a return label already paid for inside to return the burnt up CPU.
Samsung, on the other hand has the absolute worst customer support ever. In the end, they do pull through if you don't give up on them, most of the time with a FM/BIOS update some months later. But you have to be persistent with them. Their website was useless as well. Had to call and pester them.
I still highly recommend Samsung, i've bought 3 drives from them in the last few months and all of them perform well beyond what i was expecting.
Edit: Samsung Warranty lengths.
