As for worth it, yes, it's a good DLC with a lot of content and the mechanics behind it make it almost a mini sub game in itself. It may be more suitable for an experienced player though and not for a new player. There is a lot that needs to be learned and understood first to work/play with it correctly.
But, when you know what you're doing, it is probably the most profitable DLC ever ;)

If price is a factor and you want a more affordable option, then just wait at least 6 months and then you may find it discounted by up to 50% in the sales (the same for all DLC's).
Someone who already owns Parklife may have an easier time getting accustomed to Industries, than someone who hasn't

As for 'major exports, I'm not concerned with raw resources but rather unique consumer goods and even then I'd rather receive income from supplying my commercial and generic than any exporting.

That’s what my imports looked like around the same time as the exports I posted. I’ve been unable to get any game time in lately but when I get home I’ll definitely try restructuring my postal system and making it leaner and seeing how it goes from there.
As soon as I saw that, I knew this service was a keeper!
As with all services though, keep a firm handle on it and only use what's necessary ;)
