Can you mix Zoo parts with Amusement park items?
I was wondering if I can just merge zoo parts and amusement park items into one big park instead of having two? Both of them don't really have too many items to make if into what I'd like.

Alright, but it will still get visitors right? Like people using the different attractions and animals?

I have one level 5 zoo right now and one level 5 amusement park, but since they're super small without using duplicates I thought I could just mix them up. That way I can have one big zoo/amusement/natural park you know!

As you can see, it is possible as I said above... I just plopped it. I'm not going to keep it running to see how many visitors it receives, because I don't really care whether it does or not, since the Park revenue won't change much.
Personally, I would prefer having two Parks that make a good income than one mixed one that provides a single income ;)

Yes and no ;)
Any type of Park can only have one main gate and that determines the type of Park it will be.
So, you could incorporate or mix different Park assets (if you have unlocked them in another Park) but they won't be recognised as true Park assets related to the actual Park type it is.
For example, you have a zoo and you want to plop a rollercoaster there. First you will have had to have already built an amusement park to level 5 and unlocked the rollercoaster. Then, plopping the rollercoaster into your zoo, will add nothig towards the zoo other than being an attraction.
Therefore, don't mix, there's no benefit to doing so other than appearance.

Yeah I suppose you're right, at the moment I've built my two ones sharing one coastline. I guess I can just move one and build appartments instead.

Reason why I wanna mix the two is because in Sweden where I'm from, actually just a couple of miles from me. We have a animal/attractions park where there's a huge water park, animal park and amusement park all in one. Of course it's zones but you can get to anything just by walking.

That's the reason why I want to do that, but I appreciate you letting me know. I will try it myself and see what I think of it :)

Ah I see... I recall visiting Kolmården Wildlife Park in Norrköping many years ago ;)

Well, if you want to emulate something like that then sure, go for it!
As I said though, it will be for appearance only, unless as you suggested, you build the two or three different parks together (each with their own maingate) in such a way that they appear to be one whole park.

True, with some imagination I can make it seem like one park, and with the help of trees and mods I can hide many items so it seems like one :)

Edit: Kolmården is pretty cool, been there once but for me it was just like anything else :)

I gotta say, this has given me an idea I'd like to try out sometime. I think I'll build a super park with all 3 types. It will be interesting to see the revenue I can force out of them ;)
Making a Park extremely profitable has more to do with placement than with any of the Park contents. For example...

I've built part of my city like New York, so my city is called New Bork. So I have central bork in the middle, perhaps I should redo that into a mix of everything since it's in the middle of a univercity and everything else in the city xD

Sorry for double quoting you, but here's how my parks look like. They're towards the bottom split up :)

Thanks! As a gouvernor I don't strive for profit, I strive for public health and the well being for people. All of my parks are free to enter, I have a lot of policies to benefit health and better living. I know I can crank prices up by a lot but I wanna strive for making a better city :)
