Creating a pedestrian path from two metro stations
I have two metro stations on opposite side of a rail line, I use a metro line to connect the two despite them being so close together in terms of actual distance.

With over 1000 passengers trying to make the crossing, I was wondering if there was anyway with or without mods that I could literally just make a walkway in between them both (As in from the underground parts) So they can just walk to the opposite station?

Cheers.

It's called a pedestrian path. In order to cross the rail tracks, either elevate it and bridge over, or lower it and tunel under. Page UP/Down

Sorry if I wasn’t being precise enough. I meant as in I want to connect a pedestrian path from the part of the metro station where they wait underground without them ever leaving the station. Making a normal path to go under/over isn’t really feasible

Ah, then no. They have to come topside and leave the station in order to transfer.
Otherwise, you will need to create an asset that combines a metro with a train station. There are examples of this type of asset in the Workshop.

Why don´t you use a multiplatform ? Can you post a screenshot with transport overlay on ?

I know exactly what your talking about from my many years joing to Japan and walking underground from station to station. Some lines in NYC work the same way. I use these, as the other poster said they are topside, but the walkways are about ground and they look pretty cool. There are different orientations and walkways that people have created.

Give that a try, once I get my computer up and working again (praying it’s tomorrow) I’m thinking about making a “metro transit hub” (passenger rail, metro, bus, and monorail) and starting testing on it. If you want I can let you know when it’s available/stable.

I was trying to basically replace the yellow metro line in the middle with a pedestrian path so that they could just walk from each metro to the other rather than trying to catch a met across or going out and walking further down the road to a crossing.

Think I've sorted it by having a pedestrian path glitch through the quay wall next to the metro station on the surface that goes underneath the rail line. Looks a bit weird but does the job haha

So would I be correct in assuming you believed you could not tunnel a subway path from one metro to the other because the metro tunnel was in the way?
If that was the case and you wanted to keep the connecting metro tunnel, then all you have to do is rotate one of those metro stations by 180 degrees so that one of the metro exits was facing a rail station. Then you could run a subway tunnel path from one side to the other since the metro tunnel would no longer be in the way ;)

It is one of the most vulnerable mods to breakages due to game updates and/or mod conflicts. For that reason it has spent more time broken than working. Any mod that causes me as much grief as this one has is a waste of my time.
