Problem with the simulation speed? Here a solution!
Hi,

I've been days with a problem that seems very universal in this game. It is that suddenly the speed of the game slows down and the game goes very, very slow. It frustrated me a lot, and I saw that it is a topic that has been commented thousands of times in the forums and people refer to it comes from a PC resource problem.
Well, today I happened to find the solution (at least for me, but I guess if it worked for me, it will work for many other people).

With the mod "Traffic Manager: President .." activated, once inside the game you go to options, configuration of the mods, you go to the mod in question. and in the "Maintenance" tab you have to click on the first option "Reset cims and stuck vehicles". And voila !, the game will go fast by magic.

I hope this can help other people with this problem that apparently is so common.

As you've probably noticed by now, the traffic just comes back and slows it down again.

But yes, traffic is what slows it down. Now you need to figure out how to reduce traffic/

Exports is usually the place to start first as industry always get built up the most and you end up with a bunch of freight being exported. You gain nothing by exporting, so I usually just rezone it with offices, which have no freight.

Trains.
Industry to commercial and industry to outdside are the ones you want to have.
Also public transportation helps alot.
I wish there was a way to really lower the impact of traffic.
