Same here as well. I hope it gets fixed soon. I'm dying to get some real world height maps.

When was the last time anyone was able to successfully use terrain.party?

In the Philippines it was July 12, other countries had it worked afterwards only a couple of days though.
Same, it's been broken for almost an entire month, hopefully this isn't the end of the road for terrain party as their are no good alternatives that I've found.

Agreed. The sight is the only one like it that I have been able to find. Without it I have been having to go through the much more involved and tedious process of getting height maps and topographic data from various government agencies, converting to PNGs and then usng Photoshop to figure out an appropriate conversion factor. A minimum of 2 hours of work just to get an accurate and usable 17.29 x 17.29 km area.
It's working for me now, which is great! Hopefully it stays up!

Here in the Philippines, terrain.party is now working again since August 8, I have successfully downloaded heightmaps of our local cities, which will be recreated into the game. Just search for Cities: Skylines - Philippine Cities (on YouTube) and you'll see it.

Well... it's almost back in working order, but not quite.
The searchbar isn't functioning yet, so you cannot use it to immediately zip to your chosen location as previously possible.
But, you may drag the blue box around the globe to the location of choice manually.

lol, I didn't even notice the search bar before.

I just used the search button and it positioned fine, almost exactly the same as I did. Of course, it's a small city and fits inside the 25-tiles nicely. Not like other large cities.

It works fine for me using the searchbar. In Fayetteville, NC.

There ya go! Now then... you can type in the location you want and zip right to it ;)
Throughout these past many weeks of downtime, this is what I've tested terrain.party for... I typed in "Kilauea" because I wanted to chart the old and new topography going on with the recent volcanic activity on the big island of Hawaii. Now there's no need to manually drag the blue box halfway around the world from Tampere, Finland ;)
