why do my high desity houses look all old timey
when i build the high density houses they look all old and ♥♥♥♥, like in old new york or something.
When i see other people build these they look all mordern and stuf
can someone tell me how to fix this?

Its because your playing on a European map.To get the normal ones you need to disable the vanilla buildings in the content maneger

If you bought the deluxe edition, you would have received a digital artbook which details how the CO design team approached the architectural design of their buildings. Basically, they used early 20th century styles for the low level buildings and as the building levels up, so too do the architectural era's used to depict them.
So, what you're seeing is probably low level high density residential. Level them up to max and you'll notice the modern style and difference in height immediately ;)
