Has anybody found a solution to the no audio BUG? (FIXED)
I have been having a bug in cities skylines, that it doesn't give any audio at all.
And this bug is not linked to my audio drivers, because everything else but cities skylines,
plays audio just fine. I can have youtube in the background, I can play every single other games, with audio. Except for cities skylines.

When I open up my volume mixer, I can see the green audio bar from all programs moving, except cities skylines.

I have seen people being told to reinstall their audio drivers. Which doesn't work.
I have seen people being told to put their audio to 16bit, which for some people does work, and for some it doesn't, for me it doesn't.

I also seen a thread saying that it is a problem with unity engine based games, I'm not sure about that. Another thing I found out from the threads I read, All the people having this problem are on Windows 10.

If anybody had this problem but managed to fix it. Please let me know.

Making an edit to this thread. I found a fix for my audio problem.
My computer had a bloatware installed called Nahimic. or Nahimic audio driver.
As soon as I shut it off or shut down it's processes the audio worked again.
This also seem to work with other games.

Nope, I'm just providing a link to the official support forum, since this is hardly a topic for General Discussion o.O

Oh, I see. Thank you! I think it's a problem related to some directx audio drivers. The output.log file shows this error: FMOD failed to initialize the output device, attempting to initialize the null output.
That led me to google for it and it may be something related to geforce experience. I will uninstall it to see if that helps

Another thing that springs to mind would be to verify the game files (right-click on the Cities game in your library, select Properties, Local Files tab, click the Validate button). Just possible that the sound files got corrupted, refusing to load, thus no sound. (Although, would have expected some sort of error message, anyway, give that a try maybe).

It wasn't that. I solved it by uninstalling a component of the nVidia drivers (geforce experience or something like that)
