Trains acting weird on map edges
I've noticed that trains act weird on the map edges. there are crossing points right there on the edge and trains towards the city spawn on both sides of the track.
That has a tendency to lock the whole system up and i often get train queues for miles! Is there any way to fix this or work around this?
I have a few trains from the workshop that exceeds the standard platform lenght, might that be the issue?

(Also, it's really strange that passengers spawn by the track and then board the trains...)

You are not meant to see that hence the fog layer. Now you know why. At highway connection points you will see pedestrians pull-out pocket cars, van, trucks, tractor trailers... before they start their journey onto the map.

Sure, i understand why it’s like that. I just wanted to point it out.
Any input on the main point of my topic?

1. Stop building terminals at the outside connection.
2. Do not share an outside connection with more than one terminal.

Sorry about that, the longer trains I don’t think hold more and the only issue they can cause is they require intersections to be further apart or as you can imagine the platform of a station needs to be long enough to accommodate the longer trains without holding up other train traffic. The overrun of trains is due to too many trains or stations having access to outside connections. To combat this issue three separate rail line can be made. A local industry\ commercial line, a passenger line and an international or outside connection line. This third line (International line) stops the outside connection from sending a train to every station you have. In my city for example I have only one passenger station to bring in tourist by rail from all outside connections.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1193466554 the passenger station is here near the airport.

This third rail line also handles All import and exports for the city and contains all the exchanges to a common rail yard. This again to stop all four outside connections from sending trains to 12 local Cargo terminals 12 (terminals)x4 (outside connections)= 48 extra trains, not flooding the rail system from industry alone.
This is the rail yard to handle exports by rail.

and this show how efficient traffic can be as a result
