If you have an urge to play whatever music you wish, even if it is christmas jingles, then use this mod and play your own melodies.

I was using it to play my own christmas tunes long before that DLC became available.

December 2016
Still at your old tricks of ignoring issues and talking out of your ass.
Good on you for not taking grapplehoeker's word for gospel. ;)
Portwills' issue is that the DLC will not install, the OP's issue is the DLC will not play in game. as grapple said, the DLC will not play as it's no longer Christmas. the songs will probably start playing again in December.
Ok, now I do undestand. But as far as I can remember, Colossal Order didn't explain that when they launched the DLC back in December. If they did so, it was a very inconspicuous footnote. Anyway, thanks. I'll not complain about it anymore.
"ABOUT THIS CONTENT
Tis the DLCeason! With Carols, Candles and Candy, yule feel right at home with five new Christmas carols remade in multiple genres: Classic Jazz, Latin Jazz, Country, Indie and Indietronica. The songs will be randomly played across existing radio stations once you download the DLC. It’s free! Besides, you can't prove Chirpy is not a partridge, and Paradox Interactive is spelled with No L. Happy holidays, city-builders.
