It was already lagging in the video. 1-day was taking 7ish seconds for a day, which is about x2 speed. He just replied to the video message I left him and he states it was a saved game and it is failing fast when he builds it a little more. Probably from imbalance. I'm sure he can regain the drops, but it takes a lot of work to get traffic low again.

I still just can't recommend it. To get it to run well, you have to pay too much for RAM. If he had standard ram (2400MHz) it would lose about 30% performance. 3200MHz is needed to get the full speed out of the GPU and it's just too expensive. The RAM would be as much as the APU and motherboard both.

This just takes it out of the budget rig range and more towards mid-gaming rig. And there are better options for that price point with a discrete graphics card. With RAM prices so high, it just makes it too expensive right now. It seems like every time AMD takes a step forward, they take a step backwards. Price gouging this time around. But it's always something biting them in the ass.

Remember, the 2400G is basically like a Ryzen 1500X 4-core/8-thread CPU with "free" Vega graphics "thrown in" per se, and that if the user is not satisified to their liking with the gaming performance of the APU alone, they can always simply add a discrete graphics card at anytime, which would have been part of a typical desktop build cost anyway as a first default option, so nothing is lost and only gained performance. I recommend and agree that it's always better to get a seperate discrete GPU. Again, the disclaimer that this is just my personal opinion and that the APU alone is for lower-budget basic gaming limited to low settings and not to expect high performance. Your definition of playable may be different from mine, and might not measure up or qualify and proven yet in your eyes, and that's fine and you are entitled to your own personal opinion and I respect that. Like you said, to wait and see proper gameplay footage for a closer analysis, but for me, i believe it's fine for basic vanilla game with no mods and limited to the basic 9 tiles only. Nothing fancy, it's not perfect and expect limitations, but to me it's playable and far better than any intel igpu, but again that is my opinion and we can agree to respectfully disagree. The owner of that youtube video replied back to your comment and stated that the game does run good even for an integrated gpu, though again I understand any hesitation, as i'm sure other gameplay footages will come to gain a closer analysis.

This isn't about opinions. You can fact check and give factual answers. If the system is below minimum spec, then no one should be recommending for this game.

Not only that, you could get a a rig that meets the minim requirements for the same price as getting this system with integrated graphics. But this game, as it stands, will need more than $500 to be built. You can build $500 rigs that meet and even exceed minimum requirements with a bit of research and some sales,

I got a reply from the video and he's going to run more test and hopefully post new ones soon.

You forgot to update the original post with the new motherboard.

But you're still stuck below minimum specs and will only get maybe a tile or two built up in the game before it becomes unplayable.
