High way entrances often randomly gets "stop signs"
Ever so often I suddenly see a very annoying odd behavoir of cars where my high way entraces are. When the the entrance hits the high way I could see in some sitatuons every single car stop completely up before entering the road... Then I notice that the road has "stop sign" to solve this I have to demolish the road and place the entrance over again... Later on another entrance randomly gets this. What is causing this? Its reaily annoying and cloggs up traffic horribly when it happens.

It's always mods, especially if the intersecting road isn't set as a priority road.

What mod would it be because I dont have any type of traffic manager mod or whatsoever?

No idea, I've seen this happen a couple times to other players but never to myself.

I see it now after I started using mods but I believe it's due to the new pathfinding algorithim in one of the last Mass Transit patches.

If you have changed/replaced a road or highway along the path of the vehicle after the vehicle has done it's path selection then it comes to a complete stop while the Cim is waiting for its navigator to stop saying 'recalculating... recalculating'. If you watch closely you will see this behavior on the roads and avenues (the Cim will stop in the middle of the 'block' or not 'go' when the light changes).

It's almost as bad as some Cims driving around looking for a parking space! (Some do that, I've queried)

What do you mean by highway entrance?
Traffic should be entering or leaving the highway via on/off ramps.

Im talking about the ramps... I know how to make highway junctions and exits/entrances...

I think its this... I think I usually see it happen after a road has been upgraded.

That was the point I was making.
If you are using highways on ramps to connect to a highway, there should never be a stop (give way sign).

So what do you mean by upgrading roads? A highway ramp is a highway ramp and shouldn't be upgraded and so what would you be upgrading the highway you're connecting it to?
If on the other hand you're connecting a highway ramp to regular roads, then in the case of small roads, there will be no stop sign on the ramp.

but there will be stoplights when connecting a ramp to a medium or large road,

Upgraded the highway itself.... I also have Network extensions 2 so at times I upgrade a ramp with 2 lanes for better flow. Also sometimes I upgrade the highway to have 4-6 lanes on one side as well.

Sounds like you answered your own question.

I only have mod for adding roads... Not to manipulate existing roads. I have general understanding of how mods works and mods that just adds new things or parts shouldn't change the behavoir of existing mods. Including that the devs have even added a way to design roads ingame.

The mod isn't changing the behaviour. The game is automatically placing stops for the new highway types you are changing them to. This should be realtively easy to fix with the use of other mods.

What mods do you reccommend for better traffic control? Im often plagued by idiotic use of lanes...

I wouldn't ask me lol. I don't need them and so I don't use any of them. I can manage my traffic just fine without any traffic management mods. I would recommend reading guides though to improve your skills.
