Update 1.10 Can't Zone or Place Anything

I know there's a lot of things that are broken right now due to the last update, but I don't have a lot of mods installed, and all seem to be working. I checked a list of updated mods for 1.10 and mine are all on there. I still can't zone or place anything. Are assets broken or is it something I'm missing ?

Network Extensions is causing this glitch.

I don't have Network Extensions. Like I said, all my mods are on lists that have been updated for 1.10

I read the pinned posts. Like I said, I have no mods that are causing the game to break. Everyone is reporting problems, and some are even having trouble disabling mods altogether. It seems like the game is just broken, and I've cleared game cache and everything.

In that case there's a possibility that mods are not working properly despite of updates, and the cause of this is not known. It's not a bug in the game code because there are also lots of players who have no issues with this.

What you might want to try is adding the Launch Option of --noworkshop and start a new game to see if it works, if it does then the problem is a Mod so you will have to test disabling mods to see which is causing the problem.

With this update I have been lucky and only have one Mod that isn't working (mind you I either don't play on launch day or play vanilla until the mods are fixed)
