And yet, there will be some ignorant players who will post something here saying something like "Oh, my game broke because of this mod that I've been using for many months or years!" I hope this pinned topic will be seen and read by everyone, but I doubt it. There will be some amount of people who will moan and complain about it, not having any common sense or just doesn't know the circumstances too well.
Perhaps 3 days and into the parks we went.
Yeah. I think I will wait on this one. I hope Network Extensions 2 be updated because I tested it out with it turned off and my save file doesn't load up. Used the Loading Screen Mod and it showed an error message briefly before the game screen turned all blue. Hopefully, that mod and Traffic Manager get updated. These two are the most important mod for me.
We can add Rush Hour and Realistic Population to that list, as they seem to be working on streams.
So we can stay on the same game version for a while. There will be a time when your favourite mod creator will not update (as fast). After all they are not obligated to do so anyway. This way you can finish playing your save that is dependant on specific mods, even if the mods are not updated.
The only way you can prevent an update is to keep Steam in offline mode.
However I would recommend to start a new city until most mods have been updated..
Hope the Traffic Manager gets updated, really like it.
Here is one question I have and forgive my ignorance; Why did it take the release of the update for MOD builders to know if it was their version was broken or not? Did they not have a beta to test?
it just makes no sense at all.
*still* disappointed about this.
