Buildings won't disappear when dezoning/rezoning
My buildings are not automatically replaced by new ones when I rezone areas, eg. from low density to high density. Dezoning an area won't make the buildings disappear either. If I manually bulldoze the buildings, then the new ones start to appear normally. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Mods in use:

Move It!

Tree Brush

Have you crosschecked your mods with the pinned post regarding mods ?
Automatic Bulldoze 2 is Incompatilbe!

I'd also suggest that you manage your custom content. You have listed several mods that aren't working or aren't working as intended.

Thanks! I guess I didn't read the fine print... disabled it and rezoning works again.

Whether it works or not, it's crap... avoid using it. It's the worst mod out there and causes more problems than it supposedly solves.

Whether it works or not, it's crap... avoid using it. It's the worst mod out there and causes more problems than it supposedly solves.
I find it very useful when I need to demolish several hundred abandoned buildings and get rid of those blinking icons! just turn it on for a minute or so and they are gone , then turn it off again.

works fine with my game so just my own experience, no idea why others can't get it to work.

grapple's point is that you HAVE several hundred abandoned buildings for a reason. Deleting the symptom doesn't solve the problem. It only compounds it. The abandoned buildings tell you why they are abandoned. Auto deleting them removes this option to find out what is going wrong. Solve the problem and the abandoned buildings will eventually regrow into new ones anyway without deleting the abandoned building.

as I said when I need to demolish them I turn the mod on, simple. I already know why they are abandoned I just want them gone. It just saves me the hundreds of clicks to get rid of them.

For me it was RICO Revisited 2.5.5, had to turn off 'Growable buildings can survive out the correct zone' for non-rico buildings
