Huge traffic jam at industrial area
Could someone provide me a good road layout for my industrial area? I have tried adding roundabouts and making one-way roads but they don't seem to be working.

I can't see your industrial area.
I can't see the commercial area it has to supply.
I can't see what you're using for outside connections and so I don't know where your imports/exports are coming and going from.
So, I'm sorry but my crystal ball isn't helping me at all and neither are you ;p

A Screenshot or the savegame would be helpful :)

That helps a little, now how about the commercial it has to supply?
Please share a savegame and then we may examine it firsthand.

I can see from this shot that you need to set your cargo rail terminal and air cargo terminal back from the road from the road a bit and making use off a traffic sponge would be useful.

That is a massive industrial area. For its size it seems from here to run well. Personally I would add two more cargo terminals but only if you have a rail yard up and running.
Oh, why do you have no commercial demand, are the zones building? I ask because no demand for commercial often alerts to an issue if the zones are built.

Hmm.. I don't have any idea about commercial. Maybe it's because they are complaining that there isn't enough goods to sell.

that would do it!

1. Remove zoning 4 to 5 tiles from any intersection (to avoid trucks loading/unloading from holding up other trucks)
2. Add pedestrian tunnels/bridges over the busiest crossings (people go to work on foot as well) and remove crossings from the road itself (if you have traffic manager?)
3. See if your public transportation is properly placed (not too close to intersections, again to keep from interfering with truck traffic) and if you have routes within the area, see if there aren't too many vehicles of that sort (look at passengers and vehicle capacity, then deduce from that the ideal number of vehicles needed, move the slider accordingly and reduce the number of them clogging up your industrial traffic)
4. If you have traffic manager, consider using timed traffic lights for a more controlled flow.
5. If you have traffic manager, Have one or two dedicated lanes for non-industrial traffic to free up the other lanes for industry only.
6. Click on the routes menu, then click on the busiest road and see where they want to go. Adapt your roads to make them reach their destination easier. (more exits? alternative/shorter path? more roundabouts?)

Thanks guys for all the help! I try fix my industrial area with those tips. If the problem doesn't solve it self, I will drop a another comment here. :)

Personally what I see? Traffic jams would be just so much industrial in one Area. Too big and all needing to use just one airport and one railyard. Personally I would run it at four about a quarter that size with more rail yards to have intracity delivery to commercial.

I suspect where traffic is getting nasty, but would need more overhead with the traffic map.

There is also ways of using one ways to keep traffic flowing smoothy into and out of the areas as well to eliminate traffic crossover.

Edit: Screenshot of how I set up industrial areas. Ignore rail traffic jam first pic, I have different routing now in second picture. No more jamming.

I dont have it shared. The branches to areas are what I cal herringbones for a zero interference intersection. The major interchange is a full lane utilization configuration that is shared called square-a-bout. Far superior to anything roundabout. Just cost a little bit more, but pay for themselves.

This is happening because of multi lane on ramps. If I was to guess I would think up ahead there is a three lane On ramp calling for three lanes to enter the highway with so traffic is being pushed to the left.

This is a symptom of an issue most likely the same one from the first pic.

If you didn't use TrafficManager I would attempt to fix this for you and explain whats happening. That intersection looks interesting but all those turns slows traffic for each turn. Also this shot is showing the symptom not the issue. The issue you will find at the beginning of a back up, at the front of the pile up.
