How can i get rid of these "new" popup messages?
I just got the game and i'm already getting fed up with the game getting spammed for 5 hours straight with messages about new this, new that. Also the other pointless messages telling me what to do, SHOO, I may have autism but am not stupid.

Anyone, please help me find a way to make the game shut up. These constant popup messages seriously make me hate my decision to buy this game. I'm so stressed out after just 5 hours trying to figure out how to kill these annoying popups that i'm nearing a mental breakdown. Just because of these popups that keep bugging me out. PLEASE, ANYONE?

Do you mean the ones telling you to check out a newly unlocked building? Those do get annoying.

Those indeed Rena, going nuts because I can't seem to turn them off. Even with that popup setting turned off. Also the tutorial ones, which keep flooding me even if i already had them multiple times.

Options menu > Gameplay tab > Disable game pop-ups

Pop-ups does not show up on my game, even I leave it running for 12 hours.

Mine only show up for a while. they are just letting you know a new thjing is availabnle to use. But I agree, it does get annoying if you have already been through all of the unlocks already. The game even records these in the game files. so it knows they have been accomplished.

But at 5-hours game time, then this shouldn't be that annoying. Sounds like OP is just fussing about nothing.
Perhaps clearing Milestones also annoys the OP, in that case he might want to play with everything unlocked. And disable notifications to freely play in sandbox mode.

Yeah, I have noticed playing with the unlocked milestones, the notifications can go on for an extra long time. There are a lot of things that get unlocked over the course of the game, so there are a lot of notifications. I never noticed the notifications option before, not that I looked.

I unlocked everything so I could add in mods and test them out properly, see what will work and what will not work. Of course it's to expected to get messages but this is just insanity. I really do hope the developer will add a feature to fix this issue. Example:

1 window where these unlock messages pop up in which are hidden by a button (flash on new message type) in one of the corners of the screen. Yes you can see a list of what you unlocked then plus all the information added to that, but no you won't get spammed with messages of unlocks all the time. Also it may help a lot if everything you unlocked gets mentioned in 1 single go in that window. It would help a lot and gets rid of the annoyance that is in the game now.

Seems like the Hide It mod would be a good home for an option to hide these annoying popups, I already asked the author for this feature some time ago, maybe you would like to add a comment to the feature request to promote it:

The "Hello..." advisor panel that seems to always appear at start of new game: https://github.com/keallu/CSL-HideIt/issues/2

The "Unlocked Milestones" panel that always appears when reaching a milestone: https://github.com/keallu/CSL-HideIt/issues/1
If you guys also have Park Life and Industries installed get ready for two more kinds pf popups that would surely annoy you, these things don't annoy me though.

It can be disabled on the Options menu, under Gameplay tab though.

I don't think the popups themselves are really the issue, it is they popup over buttons of the UI. Maybe they need to be in Chirpy? Maybe numbers over buttons so, each item says how many new things were unlocked? I take back the Chirpy comment. It resizes itself with every message and blocks my clicks on the map. Although, I've subconsciously learn to be prepared for it, but it still get me occasionally.

Yeah, while a city is starting to grow I get popups every damn minute reminding me to check out the newly unlocked Elementary School or Fire House. Even though I already built one, it has to tell me about the other one that's a different style.

I still can't believe people still complaining about this even on the Options menu there is a option to disable game pop-ups. There is also a option to disable auto-open Chirper messages. There are also two more options to hide park/industry level up icons (I can post screenshots if you want to).

Any experienced player should know about this, since it's on the Options menu since Parklife? I can't even remember when it was added. The OP is complaining about something that can be easily disabled on a menu that is easier rather than starting a discussion thread like this. It's getting nowhere.
