How to find what map your using?
This might sound like a stupid question, but how does one find out which map they are using? I am looking at an old sace and for the life of me I can't figure out which map it's using!

Old sace?

If you subscribed to the map from the workshop, then it should be listed under content manager/workshop.

If it's a default game map, you'll have to start a new city, if you can't recognize it from the thumbnail.

The maps are listed by DLC, so if it was a special DLC map you were using, then it will be easier to track down as each map is listed by DLC.

Well what I'm saying is about a year or two ago I started a city but hadn't played it in a long time. I really like the map it's using so I'd like y start a new city with it but I can't figure out which map it's using. I have probably 30 or so maps installed, I just feel like there's a simple way to see which map a city is using but I can't figure it out.

I would also like to be able to do this. I've got several maps installed and it's not always easy to see from their thumbnails which one is which. The save file stores memory about the map theme and the name of the city, I'd also like to see the name of the map itself.

The first time you open a "New Map" immediately save it under original map name with the extension O (that's capital O not zero) ex. "New Map O" Then as you decide to make extensive modifications or interrupt play for a period of time save by adding letter to extension such as "New Map Oa" Then "New Map Oaa" ext. Then I personally copy all saved files to a back up folder on my hard drive for safe keeping.
