Underground Power Lines??
Is there a way or MOD that makes it so one can place power lines underground. Above ground power towers in my parks to get power to restrooms, cafe's etc deep in dark forests seems - well - just wrong.

If there's a mod or if maybe I just missed how in the game - where? Or how?

Thanks...

did you even try searching the Workshop for "Underground Power"?

Yeah - I did. I found 1 Mod searching on Underline Power Lines. 5 star rating. Figured it had to be good. Wrongt! Either I don't know how to use it (minimal instructions that aren't clear) or it just doesn't work. Makes me wonder how it ever got 5 stars.

I posted here for two reasons.

1) I knew I get some better answers than I got with the search I did and turns out I was correct.

and...

2) I knew there'd be some guy like you who always has to ask in a smug and condescending way exactly what you asked. Made your day posting didn't it? I enjoy making people happy. Thanks - even though your purpose is way, way less than mine. Have a nice day.

That's what I downloaded before I even posted the request for more info. Doesn't work for me. Connections will work for a while and then just turn off for some reason. I believe that maybe it is best used with a brand new city not one that's already got 22,000 pop. Maybe. The instructions are minimal and what's there is not very clear. It'd be great if it worked but alas - for me - it does not.

That said: Thanks for the heads up.

You might have a mod conflict as i've been using it for 3 years and never had a problem.

Check this list for broken mods and remove them, also check the incompatibility tab at the top.

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
I repeat, just use those rural powerlines instead

i would have preferred if you used the search function correctly, that would have made me happier.

Interesting list. I did find a couple of mod conflicts and turned 'em off. And a couple of road tools I needed to turn off because they did the same thing as other mods.

Didn't make the Populous mod work though.

Thanks.

You really need to remove any mod off that list completely as disabled mods can still effect your save games, glad to help :)
