Installing Expansion packs
Hi there.
I just purchased a Predator Laptop.
There is a folder called City Skylines.
In the folder are the following sub folders.
City Skylines,
City Skylines After Dark
City Skylines Campus
City Skylines Snowfall
City Skylines Concerts
City Skylines Industries
City Skylines Mass Transport
City Skylines Park life
City Skylines Green Cities

I have installed the game and love it.

I would like to install the above packs.
Not sure where I should install them.
The game is installed on
D:\Games\Cities Skylines
Is this where I should install the expansion packs??

Thanks in advance

So, OP: You can't use those pirated DLCs and you need to buy them from Cities Skylines storepage. Then they are automatically added to your Steam version of the game.

They are install automatically, just go to steams top menu chose library then Cities Skylines, you should see a box in the right hand pane with ticks in them to show their installed

The only thing that is showing up is
Cities Skyline

I took a screen shot, not sure how to upload it

Your profile > content > screenshots > there is a tab to manage them , publish it and click on the shot , copy the link and post it here
edit : too slow , lol

Haha i deleted my post as your was more succinct @BucketBrain

One more thing for the OP to check is whether the DLC's have actually downloaded yet

Posts above are saying to look in steam, and they are installed automatically...Ummm.

IF this is truly the path to the game...D:\Games\Cities Skylines (as stated above).

Then does that mean its a NON steam version ?? just askin, Or can you install steam games without having the "steam apps or common folders??

cause i would expect a path similar to mine if installed thru Steam!

E:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines <<my path

You could be right but i thought to have the icon next to your name points to it being a steam version.

I have two versions I have just discovered.
The one I installed D:\Games\Cities Skylines
I also have the Steam version Installed.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines

Either way Im trying to find out how to install the expansion packs.
The guy I brought the Laptop from said he had done a clean windows10 install but left the Games directory for me.

I have also tried to do F12 to take a screen shot of my steam window but it wont work.

Those are DLCs. If you want to install them you need to buy them for the Steam version.

If you have bought the DLC's for Steam version they will install automatically if their the win 10 version i would get a refund and buy the steam versions.

HI there
The folders with the setup file's were already on the laptop.
So I think the guy I brought it off, must have brought them.

you might as well delete that folder from your laptop as you can't use it. clicking on the game exe files will just load up Steam and try to link the game to his Steam account which won't happen unless he gives you his steam name and password.

nz1master owns the game on Steam. He has a mouse icon next to his name.
