Casino and Leisure Specialization

I have been putting down a bunch of leisure items to get the Casino, but it does not give me any progress. How do I get 5,000 square of leisure specialization built?

Just build some and wait till it is built, Then check how many more you need and build it. Simple.

this is part of the After Dark expansion so leisure is referring to the leisure specialised commercial zoning that comes with that expansion and nothing else.

I have the After Dark expansion, but I do not see leisure specialized commercial zoning.

in that video go to 13.56 minutes, i added a time start but it doesn't work on steam

You need to make a district, and then set that district to specialise ( the tabs to the right of the "paint or remove district" one)

Then any commercial buildings in that district will be leisure oriented instead of normal commercial.

Paint an area using the district tool 50x100 (or any combination to get the 5,000 required) and designate it as commercial leisure specialisation. Now all commercial zoned buildings that grow in that district will be commercial leisure and you'll get the unlock ;)

You could do that, but it would be better to familiarise yourself with each DLC, such as After Dark in this example. Here, the OP is trying to unlock a unique building, the casino asset and not a scenario ;)

Commercial leisure specialism provides a nicely lit low lying commercial area that is attractive to tourists and Cims alike. At night it reminds me more of a red light district lol.
While, commercial tourism spacialism will see the development of many tall hotels.

The scenarios are fun. Well worth giving them a go to test your city building skills ;)

It's no scenario ;)
You are unlocking the Casino unique building, from the After Dark DLC.
The task is an unlock task, which requires you to zone and build 5000 cells worth of commercial leisure specialisation. I explained how above ;)

I put some commercial zoning down, then I painted, and finally used the "Mask" symbol and made the area commercial leisure zoning. But, when buildings start to pop up, they are not leisure, regular commercial and does not count towards the Casino. Did I do everything right, or did I miss something?
