Yep, got my gates in etc. Also all covered by park zone.

If you want to make a park for profit (or just increase its level quicker), a good way is to make is as the only foot path between two fairly close areas that are not directly connected by roads (like between your residencial and your commercial zone if the roads need to make a detour).
Your citizens will happily walk a fair distance to go where they want even if that means going through a park, and if you don't want to use that to "game" the system you can lower the entrance's price.
I made it free entry for now.
It is also the main footpath to a commercial sector im stating to add.
I have yet to unlock many props, and the ones I do have, have no attraction ratings.
