Network Extension 2 [SOLVED SOMEHOW] - I am quite new (Barely Understand Much)

Hello everyone, I am sort of new to the game and still try to learn more.

Recently I encountered an issue with the Mod "Network Extension 2".
As soon as I downloaded it, my game was running fine without any issues. Then I replaced an already existing road with one from "Network Extension 2", which I noticed does not provide any zoning area sectors.

I looked online for solutions but I am not so good with fixing such issues (at all), thought I read some people were able to fix the problem and recover their city.

My game then did not want to reload, after the loading screen it just becomes light blue and nothing happens.

Can someone please help me? I really love my city and cannot let it go...

Removed zoning along the road? There is nothing in NetworkExtensions that does that. As stated in another post there is another mod out there that is meant to work with NetworkEx...but it does not. Called "Extra roads" for Network Extensions. Remove this if you have it.
The blue screen, I hate the blue screen, sorry dislike the blue screen.
Would you mind sharing that corrupted game? In the CONTENT MANAGER look in Game Saves and click the box to share the game file you wish to. It will then show in your profile. You can copy that link from your profile and post it here but not so needed, I/ we can see it in the profile too to access it. This does sound like a conflict with another mod.

Is the road you replaced accidently elevated?

Please stop and start from the beginning by listing every mod (mod, not assets) you have subscribed to and enabled. Do that first and then we can move on.

I'm also wondering if it's actually Network Extensions not Network Extensions 2 as the original version has that kind of issue.

The old Network Extensions has been removed from the workshop AFAIK, so this is caused by something else.

sounds like you put down the national highway, which has no zoning.

... this is one of the reasons I asked the OP to list their mods.
If they still have NEP it will be immediately obvious what the issue is, as well as highlight any other potential issues.

How the heck? I searched Network Extensions, even checked the mod box and it didn't come up. Only saw Extensions 2. Just did the search again with same result, how odd.

I unsubscribed and subscribed to "Network Extensions 2" once, and nothing happened. Everything was still broken and seeing the blue screen. Somehow though, I did that again a second time, and everything went back to normal. As well, while I was getting the blue screen all 10+ times I tried opening the game save, apparently my city was running in the background and actually functioning while waiting for something to magically happen.

Right now, I am back onto the city and playing, nothing is wrong with it anymore. I reopened the game a few times, everything is working properly.

On the contrary, I did have "Network Extensions Project" subscribed to last week, but not turned ON from MODS in-game. Which to me, makes no sense for it to have done anything to my game. I did read about problems with it, and never turned the mod ON.

Aubergine18, thank you for the replying to my issue. As you can see above, this "thing" somehow figured itself out through subscribing and unsubscribing twice. Odd one.
