Help needed to get rid of infinity money

I was continuing the game and when it loaded I turned on unlimited money for curiosity's sake and looked to see quadrillions of dollars but didn't play the game . I turned off the unlimited option and when i restarted the game there was an infinity symbol in my bank account. How can I return to realistic numbers? Thanks!

Transfer your money to my bank account. lol
If you start a city with unlimited money, it's not possible to revert it, otherwise it may to confuse the game's AI.
You need to create a new city.

Have you tried re-starting Steam? I sometimes need to do this when I turn off mods.

If you turn off the Unlimited Money mod it will revert to the money you truly acquired or owe.
The built ion unlimited money mod isn't really unlimited money. It just masks the bank account and allows you to purchaser when negative dollars.

Once you save the game while the mod is off, the next time the money will reflect properly.

Just note, since you started the city with unlimited money, your acheivements will be disabled.
If you want to re-enable them you will need to run the achievements mod for the duration of that game.

Just disable the mods. It will show the money instead of infinity. But if it gave you quadrillions of dollars, then that will stay.

Just restart. You don't sound like you're very far into the game.

Otherwise, you'll just have to live being a quadrillionaire. lol

I didn' start the city with unlimited money. It was set up with defaults but I just wanted to check out what unlimited $ did. I turned off the unlimited monet mod and it still shows infinity. How do I restart Steam itself? Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Exit steam or better yet reboot the computer to clear of of memory.
