Was wondering if was possible build city underground
Was wondering if could build a underground citywith just houses up top? Or build roads on top of a city? When i try to build the problem i get is cant build underneath the roads. so defeats purpose of moveing roads above.

Unfortunately, subterranean building isn't possible. Perhaps in the next version of the game they'll use voxels and then that will be a possibility.

You can use road anarchy when building elevated roads so that it does not destroy the houses below it. The road will appear to be floating because it does not show the column, but hey, just imagine it's showing a transparent ground!

oh that sounds cool. only thing i miss is how in old versions could place zones as wanted. would be fine if could do zones in 2 "deep" 4,6,8 to corrispond to low mid high density areas. "size of buildings".

man if could preplan zone sizes better... build underground... also adding sidewalks to roads with out removeing ability to place zones.

You can use the Fine Road Tool (it's included with Road Anarchy now, I think?) to place roads which are elevated or underground, but it will force the ground to go with it. Which means if you place roads high, it will form a wall, and if you place it low, it will form a gorge. You can then zone these wall/gorge roads like you would on a normal road, and the building's elevation will follow the roads.

Roads already have sidewalks, why would you add more sidewalks?
