Intel Integrated Graphics Cards
I've been watching reviews for this game and I was psyched to play it. I read the system requirements and noticed that this game does not support the aforemented graphics cards. Will there ever be support or should I give up on ever playing this game?

I'm sorry but Intel Inetegrated Graphics Cards will never be powerful enough to run a game like this. You'll have to updgrade. If you can.
Some people claim that they still can run this game on an Intel GPU, at some point their game will be really lagging. However if you would like to enjoy the full potential of this game I would rather get me a proper gaming computer or if possible just upgrade to a better GPU.

I can run this on HD 530 at the lowest setting around 25fps, it is playable.

I had an Intel HD 4000. While I did run it on every low settings, it ran pretty well till I got to about 20K, then it would be choppy.

I see. So then I guess I have a multipart question. Can I put in a new GPU? (Toshiba Satellite) or do I have to upgrade? If so, what would be a good choice at a relatively lower price?

laptop, yeesh,, Just get a tower man. Then you can learn how to upgrade andn build pc your self so you never have to pay 100's of $ in noob fees trying to replace simple parts that you can easily do.

EDIT: I understand not everyone is of age and has the means to do so.

Laptops aren't very upgrade friendly. Especially the graphics card.

Sadly you'll likel;y need a new system.

However, you cn play a few tiles still. Maybe more depending on which CPU you have. I hade it to a 100k and 6-tiles on mine, but it was a struggle and lowered all my of my settings real low and restructured my city several times to make it more efficient so I could reach 100k.

It's a good challenge, and when ever you upgrade, then the game will be much easier for you.

I have a intel graphics card... ATI RADEON 200, that has a 1028MB capability. 8 gig ram. AMD E2-7110 APU Quad core processor 1.8 ghz... with the latest driver for my gaphics card. Was able to play kingdome come deliverance on it with 25-30 fps. What are the odds of playing this game... (my only issue the graphics card)

I have intel integrated graphics as well and I can run the game. How much memory you have and processor speed?

What CPU do you have, if you have a great CPU then even an ancient GPU would work, could use a 40$ 10 year old 6970 or almost anything.

in a laptop RAM upgrade could be possible
CS needs more CPU & RAM than it needs a great GPU

but i would also rather suggest a desktop PC, is cheaper than laptop but just more powerful & upgradable

Someone also was saying the size of your vram also depends on how much HDD space you have, and I have like 2TB, so my vram is set to 24GB.
you're talking about virtual RAM/pagefile. this has nothing at all to do with graphics RAM which is normally what people mean when they talk about VRAM

you also replied to a post that is 2.5 years old.
