Keep your unemployment to 10-15%
Try to avoid zoning more commercial even if there is demand. As long as your trade is balanced, there should be no more need for any more commercial and consequently no more need for generic industry to supply it. Imported goods therefore should be zero and exported goods should be minimal.
While you're waiting on your population to mature and grow ( the kids have to grow up, move out start a family of their own = takes time) you could work on those traffic jams, although if service coverage is working as it should, then you'e doing fine.
Focus on land value and levelling everything up. This will increase capacities in all buildings, prompting growth demand. This is an excellent opportunity to start plopping uniques and/or landmark buildings and monuments.
I also deleted some commercial zones because I couldn't supply them, I tried everything to solve the traffic problem but I do not have any space left in my city center.
So if I understand you right, I don't necessarily need industry and commercial zones?
