Note that the version of Wild Thing here is the 90s re-recording by the Troggs, not their far better known 60s classic cover version. Also, Crimson & Clover and probably Mony Mony as well sound like 90s remixes.
It would have been less jarring if they had used the orginals, but still this is a great mix of songs and very cool of CO to just add this music to the game.
Could be a rights issue or they didn't realize when they selected the songs. Everything else as far as I can tell is the original. But with the Troggs and the Tommy James stuff they used a rerecording/remix by the original artists that were done when the songs were first released on CD.
It's not a big deal, but there is a "90s" sound that stands out compared to the other tracks on Gold Radio.
Bummer.
...If only doing modding in Cities Skylines was so complicated, I'd be able to make that kind of mod available to everyone...
otherwise it's just as simple as replacing game files
What are you basing that on? I've listened closely to all the tracks - these all sound like the original artists to me.
NoirMoutton is 100% correct. None of them are originals. I thought that it was obvious, cause they sound totally different from these originals that i have collected on vinyls.
