Make sure you system is actually using the GT 750m. Sometimes it tries to use integrated Intel graphics instead.

Can anyone confirm that the game works in High Sierra without any bootflags?
That sounds normal to me.
You may wish to check mods to see whether there's any incompatibility issue there.
Game performance is not impressive but that has been the case for me all along. Sometimes I lose control of the mouse, sometimes zoom works more than I want, in other words some stuff here and there but for a late 2012 machine with 8GB RAM and several mods as well as some 850 assets, together with several themes, I think this is as good as it gets for me at least.
The thing is, with each new release some MAC issues appear, then they stabilize and vanish.
I'm using a late 2013 27" iMac with 24GB RAM
2GB Nvidia GTX 775M
3.5 GHz Core i7
1.1 TB Fusion Drive
I had planned to play the game between xmas an new years eve :(
Isn't there anything I can do?
UPDATE:
using OSX 10.13.2 (17C88) - High Sierra
Game Launch Option:
-Force-OpenGL
has improved the speed back to almost original speed
@Akeela: I don't have any PC anymore
