High Tech DLC, bug or malfunction
I purchased and installed the High Tech DLC.
And now there are some issues...
The buildings are there and pretty cool, but...

Several of the maps no longer load.
The population counter doesn't "register", even though the housing goes up, and money starts coming in.

This looks to be a cool DLC, but if it is going to 'bug up' the game, I need to know how to uninstall it. I'll eat the 5 bucks. Not everything can be a gem, eh?

Never had a problem with it myself. Not sure why you have encountered this issue, I can't imagine it being this pack as it's just a few buildings, nothing to do with any core game functions.

You are right though, the buildings do look very cool indeed - having an altenative crematorium building is worth the price alone!

Verify your game files in steam options. Check your mods to ensure they are compatible, and up to date.

High Tech DLC - I have just checked the STORE just to make sure - there is no HIGH TECH DLC.

Hmm thats odd as I have it installed :) No there is nothing wrong with the DLC its just a collection of buildings, I have been using them since release, it is probably a coincidence that you had problems after installing it. As suggested try verifying the games files, if that doesn't work start the game with mods off and workshop disabled.

Your search keywords should be 'high tech buildings'

@OP these are just assets. Aside from some of them being service buildings, they have no global impact on your city and I cannot see any of them being capable of producing the isuues you're experiencing.
This sounds more like a mod issue.
Use the --noWorkshop launch setting and try to duplicate the issues.
