Plane only use one airport terminal
Hey,

I have an International Airport with the normal two terminals, but only one is used by a lot of planes.
When I rotate the airport the planes come to the other terminal, but not to the original one.

Why does this happen?
Thanks for help

The planes will select the shortest route for the passengers. Is one terminal closer to the city (or public transit)?

If you build more on the other side of the airport, it might solve the issue.
It's the same entrance for passengers no matter if the planes are landing on the right lane or the left one. So there shouldn't be any difference in distance.
The travel distance for the plane is included, though. So if it's a shorter distance for the plane then it is a shorter distance for the passengers.

Like I said, once you build more of your city you should experience the issue less.
I'm playing on a modded map. Is it possible, that there are only 2 points, where planes can come from and that sets the lane of my airport?

Edit: You know that I'm using one single airport - the big one with two lanes?!

You can see the purple line crossing the hole map - this is the plane route

Yes, I've looked at your screenshot.

If you want to try adding more flight paths, you can use this mod:

Solution: The flight path was not near the second lane/terminal .
I added a flight path which is also in the area of my whole airport and now everything works. Thanks :)
