Mods to aid low spec systems. Particularly laptops.
Ive got an old HP pavilion 15 quad core laptop and I was wondering which mods i can install to help the game run smoother and which mods will actually slow my game to slow stop. Here are my specs.

Processor AMD A6-6310 APU with AMD readeon R4 graphics 1.80 GHz internal graphics.
RAM 8 GB (6.94 GB useable)
64 Bit operating system x64 based processor
1 TB HDD

Stay away from assets and mods with that little RAM. However loading screen mod might help speed up your loading time.

No mod can help you with that. You may try Dynamic Resolution and downscale to even lower resolution the game allows, but no guaratee.

i thought loading screen mod only shows you what you are loading in and what is broken???? so you are suggesting unsubscribing everything and going plain vanilla? cheers

Loading screen also forcces the game to ultilize more resource while loading, make it faster. The cons is your background app will be slow down, for exp listening music will be shuttering.

As I said you can also try Dynamic Resolution mod, and downscale it to lower resolution, may 75% or 50%. The game will look rubbish, but it will not be so taxing.

Yes. On a laptop without a ton of RAM, vanilla is the best option.

I speak from experience. On my desktop with 28gb I can easily run around 2500 active assets if I want. On my laptop with only 12gb, I tend to go vanilla.

Yes it sure looks rubbish when you use dynamic resolution. I will put the loading screen mod back on, thanks
