System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at ExtendedBuildings.ExtendedLoading.OnLevelLoaded (LoadMode mode) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
at LoadingWrapper.OnLevelLoaded (UpdateMode mode) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 I really want to know what that means so I can get the game working again.
And you should at least try to play the game with all mods disabled, even just once, just to rule out if that helps/fixes the black screen issue at all...

System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'ColossalFramework.Steamworks.Achievement' from assembly 'ColossalManaged, Version=0.3.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.
at EntryData.GenerateData () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 This gave me a clue that some mod wasn't working but in the game reality they're just fine. So what I did was that I uninstalled some mods that were not possibly not needed anymore. When finished uninstalling each of the mods that same message pops up everytime. Now to the game itself it'll load the game black screen saying this: Object reference not set to an instance of an object [System.NullReferenceException]

If it still black screens on a new city, you could try to go to your Steam Library, rightclick Cities Skylines and click Properties. Then go to Local Files tab on the popup window, and click Verify Integrity of Game Files. You could try this, if you haven't...
By the way, some of those posts are irrelevant but there are other people having that issue.
Anyway, is it happening to a lot of roads? Perhaps you could try bulldozing one part of the road/highway(where they stop) and then rebuild it after the cars have cleared, to refresh the traffic system...
