Not Enough Water - Pipes Inactive
Guys, i don't understand what's happening.

I have a proper water pipe grid, have relocated enough budget for water and savage, but city still has problem with "not enough water"!

I've redone the grid few times completely, but still the same result!

What's is wrong? :steamsad:

In my pipes, the blue one time to time goes gray, and that's causing the problem.

But i don't get how can i fix it.. My sewage and water pumps are place on different locations, but that shouldn't be a problem as i know.

Here is a screenshot of my city. [imgur.com]

Thanks in advance for help.

Are you pumping water from the river and lakes? Over time, the water level would drop if you pull more water than it is replenishing. Use water towers instead to pull water from underground (which seems to be unlimited).

the water pumping capacity number is irritating (misleading). if you have a connected water pump that doesnt pump any water, it will still add 120k to the water pumping capacity, because its capacity not actual intake or production. check if all your pumps are pumping water and are connected to the grid.or just add some more pumps - pumps are cheap.

edit: after looking at your screenshot again - it´s odd that your capacity is at 299. usually pumps ad 120k each - so 120, 240, 360. no idea how you get 299.

I have an asset for a pump, which is larger than usual ones.

I'll try to both and let you know guys. Thanks!

Little arrows in that river means slow (low) water flow, Your pumps are running the river dry. Move at least one of your pumps to the other river with bigger arrows (down south). Water towers around here and there are great idea. I use this in farm land.

Old asset and works fine.

When I used the "large Water Pump" it created that very issue for me. I stopped using it for this reason.

I had this same problem. I feel like an idiot now... In the picture your pipes are gray. This means they have no water in them. I un-paused my game and it started working after 3-4 seconds.
