Disable Chirper?
Dear god. How do I disable the blue bird thingie at the top of the screen? It is super annoying and very rarely tells me anything I don't already know. I can't seem to find any options for it aside from changing what it looks like.

Its in the options "disable chirp message" or something like that...

There are mods for it. Honestly though, I wonder wtf they were thinking to not only put it in the game to begin with, but to place it smack dab in the middle of the screen.

There's an option to make it not auto-open at least.

one of the first mods to appear for this game was to disable chirper

I know i am 6 years too late, but just incase anyone searches for this at google, you can disable the auto open chirper messages which is located at gameplay settings, and then go to audio and set the chirper vol to 0.
damn... 2017 was 6 years ago?
