Fog or haze covering the map

I'm a newbie and have only logged seven hours into the game. I've been watching a lot on YouTube. And I noticed how crisp and clear the pictures are. When I am in my game there is a blue colored fog it seems to cover the whole map. Like a haze, and I have to zoom in almost at building top to see a real clear picture.
Is there any way to remove this haze or fog?
I know there's somebody out there that has to answer to my question, so thanks in advance.

Yea, the fog is terrible... You can remove it with this mod:
