Metro + canal = cannot cross each other, correct ?
Hello all ! For the first time I decided to make some canals (I love it !) and then started to lay some metro / subway lines but noticed that I couldn't "dig" below the canals. Just want to make sure that my assumption is correct. Thanks !

After trying different tactics I have come to the conclusion that the best way to cross metrolines and canals is to build the metrolines first using the deepest possible level and then building a shallow canal on top of the metroline.
This has worked for me at least.

metros can be built across rivers I done it, ya have to build up the river just enough to alow ya to build it but still allow water to get over it

might be a good idea to build up the sides too to prevent flooding

Following up on this, you can build metros deeper than usual by first lower the land, then build the metro. It's a similar effect when building metro under riverbed. Refill the land to surface level before building the canals. I was able to run metro through deep canals.
