How do you use DLCs？

but what if my DLC is a building add-on? For example: High tect buildings, will the buildings appear in the Unique buildings chart?Or somewhere else?

Those buildings should show up under different tabs. You just have to check for the new tabs showing up.

They will be there. I have the same DLC and it works fine for me.
They are not all under 1 tab, the police have one, i think medical do as well
and there is a tab full of them with the special buildings.

I have all the DLCs. Many of the building styles, such as 'green cities' won't appear under the building styles tab. I have two modern ones, European, and the Korean one to choose from and that's about it.
How do I change the building styles to the other ones, such as the futuristic ones or the African ones?
