Return your gpu to the store, buy a plane ticket to New York. go to the top floor of the Chrysler building. Open your eyes. Best resolution of your life, right there

sorry. There were about 10 threads like this today, all of them caused by the broken Dynamic Resolution mod. Just be patient, it is so important it will be picked up sooner or later.

Wait for the updated DRmod! Then choose a resolution that looks ok while the rest of us figures out how to keep up with minimum specs on our potatoes

i know this one actually, btw, you can force it via the set launch options, hold on i have to edit it in

Doesn't seem to work for me. Has this been disabled or similar?

Did you try the Dynamic Resolution mod?

I haven't gotten it to work on my dual monitor setup in either eyefinity (AMD) or surround (nVidia) since about release time. I think maybe a Unity update broke it?

Maybe this might help?

Read mod instructions very carefvully, as well as, the comments and discussions sections.

Hello there MarkJohnson,

Thank you for the kind reply. I have tried the option OP got and the Drynamic Resoution (1.9) mod. None worked. I am not sure what More Spect Ratios would do since it seems to be for odd small(er) screens. I would really like it to work on my new 3840x1600 resolution. It is this screen: https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-38GL950G-B-gaming-monitor . It is good. :)

This game doesn't support many screen aspect ratios. These ultra wide screens are odd sized and will have issues occasionally. Maybe one day the devs will add more support for the game.

Did you install the monitor driver for the that particular monitor? Sometimes that will make things work.

I wonder if this would work for you, .Adriansun. I have 3, 17 inch. monitors on a Nvidia GTX 1070.

I found this trick to be able to use, Nvidia surround to span all 3 monitors. since you have an Ultra wide with high resolution maybe this will work.

HOW TO: Spanning monitors (make Eyefinity/Surround work with Cities Skylines)
If you've been looking for a way to get Eyefinity or Surround working, there's a surprisingly easy solution that I hadn't come across anywhere else.

Start the game. Load up a city. Ensure you are in Windowed mode and can see the title bar (hit Alt-Enter to switch from full-screen mode).

Start Task Manager. In the Processes tab you should see Cities.exe. Expand that node. You should see a Cities: Skylines child. Right-click on that and select Maximize.

After a short flicker, you should now have a spanning window. I was then able to Alt-Enter back to full screen mode and the game continued to span all monitors.

This screen actually does not have monitor drivers. :S It is pure plug and play standard drivers.

The instructions are more complicated than actually doing it. It worked. Thank you for the tip. Made my evening. Thank you MarkJohnson for the tries. Good luck out there in the city.

You are welcome. Glad it worked. Yeah it does sound harder then it really is.
