Roundabouts bugged?
I have a strange problem with my game. When I build a roundabout there always seem to be a little problem, because every time the traffic stops at a specific junction which unfortunately slow down the whole traffic.

It's probably a bug with a mod (yes, I know, but I watch that list and activate those mods which are working atm), but I don't really know how to solve it; or is there a workaround? Any help would be appreciated.

How do you make the roundabounts? straight with the circel tool, because i have that problem too. Only when i build it in the hard way i dont have that problem.

I tried making them with the help of a cross, then I tried it with just using the circle tool, without the cross. Neither worked because not every, but a lot of cars stopped at a specific junction as I already mentioned in my first post.

I saw somewhere here that upgrading the roads work, but not in my game unfortunately.

Toggle overlays in the upper left corner. Go to the new symbol, routes. The symbol is on the lowest row on the right side. Click it.

Go the the second tab of the now visible overlay. You can see the stop signs when they are there now. Click on it to disable it.

When creating a "priority road" it gives the adjacent road's a stop sign. Also some stop signs are there because the game feels that way.

Yes. You will need to check your save game for unwanted stop signs reducing flow.

If you want to add a yield, add the give way sign via tmpe. It slows the vehicle, but at clear passing, it does not stop

Sometimes these vanilla stop signs are handy, like in selfmade public transportations hubs. My advise is never make a priority road, unless you are sure you want to block adjacent flow, and always check your assets and interchanges for unwanted stop signs

I picked this up yesterday, started a post, "2 lane 1 way vanilla road" I think. Its about 5 pages back now. Just upgrade road to a dif 1 way road and back again, all fixed.

Doubt it has anything to do with the new stop/traffic light options. Wht you ask, 1 when I make a 1 way rounsabout I dont get traffic lights.

I tried what you said Dave, but there weren't any stop signs in my roundabout. However what I noticed is that around 80% of the cars don't stop, still there is that 20% which stops for no apparent reason.

I don't really know what the real cause for this is, but hopefully it will be fixed; either in any of the mods involved, or in the game.

I make one in editor, test it and use it as a template.
My roundy's work.

Just made a video about my problem. https://vid.me/ON4P
The funny thing is that sometimes even my trash collectors seem to bug because they stop sending out trucks. This problem however is easily solved by reloading the save... strange. Never had this before.

That roundabout is too small for this game. I know roundabouts don't work like this IRL, but vehicles will not enter an intersection if they can't pass through it completely.

Oh, now I understand. What's your recommended size then? And this stands for small junctions with lamps too?

I use 4x rounabouts all the time. 5x if i want to go over 4 lanes.
That's pretty small but i have LOTS in my citys. They actually work well.

I use 5x as my mininium, I have found sometimes, thats sometimes vehicles get bugged trying to exit cims right on the r/about with 4x and 3x. I dont use highway r/abouts in residential zones, too noisy even with barriers.

5x IS perfect if you want to upgrade as well, you can have issues
with the smaller ones. I can up to at least a 5 lane. (oneway of course)

Thank you guys for your help. I'm very grateful and will try this in my game.
