What's a priority road?

I'm looking for some-kind-of "guide" on the new features on this EP, namely one that describes what the new features are, how they work, and what they do.

What does making a road a "priority road" do and mean?

It enables stop signs on all crossing roads. (Don't know if there is more to it)

Sometimes its the main road true a city and al small roads witch connect to it cars on that small road 'give way' at the cars on the mainstreet.

no, it just puts automatic stop signs, it cant influence the light timing nor the traffic ai.

to influence traffic ai, you need to set district policies like old city or heavy traffic ban

What's the "adjust road" tab do?

I want to say the adjust road allows you adjust which part of the road is treated as one road, but I'm not sure. Eg. if a road changes name even though it's still physically the same the road...

I'd like to know more about the "priority road". Do Cims prefer that road? So you could have your main artery going through your city?

Priority road just adds automatic stop signs to intersections that don't have traffic lights, it doesn't affect traffic behavior otherwise. You still need to manipulate the behavior yourself to have a main artery ;)

Adjust Road is indeed used to determine the length of the road. Priority road setting will affect that segment only.

Adjust Road is indeed used to determine the length of the road. Priority road setting will affect that segment only.

To piggyback on this: Adjust Roads seems strictly to affect Road Names and the View Routes info. It's mostly for the player and not really for the actual cims or functionality of your city.

Do not set highways as a priority road! It will place stop signs on onramps and mergers, this should be in the info text or on the front page!

where I live we call them "through streets" instead of priority roads
