Freedom comes at a cost, and trust me, good deck builders and this game would ruin 2hg for the vast populous of players.
If they included 2hg - you guys would be here complaining about how broken the whole game is with the freedom to build any deck possible. I'm all for 2hg, just because I have been building decks for 20 years, but I play this game because it is more casual (and cheaper). I enjoy myself when I'm not always playing 3-400$ decks and knowing what every card will be based on the first play or two. With 2hg - things would be dumb as experienced gamers would just build super fast kill decks. I can think of one or two right now that would give you no ability to fight back and kill you in just somewhere around turn 5 in most cases.
True magic players words.
takes out journey into nyx decks , time to play irl 2hg.
wait you dont play dci?
uhh i think the point is to build super fast killer decks.
Like im not sure if im doing it right but everytime i go to a DCI event I go to win.
I play in limited tournaments, but not standard. But yes, the last 1k I went to I built a fast kill deck and top 8'ed. That isn't why I play this though. I play this for a bit more fun.
I love 2hg - but you are missing what I am saying. It will not be fun in this game because of the deck building.
