Also if you play against computer on planeswalker difficulty you will get mana screwed because RNG is against you.
...it was more games than just that, but I started really being annoyed to keep track after a while.
I played the game both in high school and even the OTHER Magic games such as the 1990's much better Magic the Gathering game...yet there it isn't as bad, not by a longshot. Speaking of the 1990's Magic game, I really wish they would do it like THAT again to be honest, to have something other than just dueling if you chose to.
I just said it isn't though. I read of countless others making the same complaint and yes, before anyone pipes back about how those without a problem wouldn't write or even read this one, I also need to throw right back that in protest, it is usually 1 out of a 100 that do care enough to protest and decided to join the rally. So basically, if a hundred people go to a rally for protest, a thousand truly care about the issue.
I put 25 lands in a 60 card deck...then I moved it up to half at 30....way too many according to the experts on a deck that doesn't need the mana that much to warrant having six available. For instance, my deck can do roughly 85% of the spells at three mana...yet I am overly starved to get to there or overly flooded that I don't have a thing for the mana to go on.
Said this already and no....I did both research, have actual playing time with cards long ago and I will just end there...just no.
Actually, thank you for this comment. I will lower down the difficulty just to help out more though but I don't think it matters much on multiplayer though? Will the setting affect land draws even while playing on the 'forced for cards' games?
Yeah, those are possible but what I am getting at is not a game like ...
...which are way too often to be even be coincidental.
No, more fair is all that the community, including myself, is asking for honestly. Sure, I want Slivers and when they do come, they better have Gemhide Sliver to make it work BUT I can live with even fairness to be honest. I am not even complaining on the computer having cards that we flat out do not have even although that is annoying too but more of just random fairness is all that I am stressing.
I didn't so much as said that, but my lands even at it's most with this problem is still between 20 and NOW 30 to avoid the mana starvation. But I try to have between 18-24 lands in a deck of 60 cards.
What the hell are you talking about? Did you even read anything on this post instead of just jumping in...I have tried almost all the way up to 29 lands just to try this out once and that is way too many. The experts from long ago when I first started in card shops and magazine based said that your deck should be:
1/3rd land
1/3rd creatures
and 1/3rd other such as enchantments, artifacts, direct damage and the like.
Sure it is tweaked a bit for this deck or that deck, but the 1/3rd is a main rule and at the professional standing, it doesn't change much so why the hell should it change here?
I blame the game over my deck building...I have in the past crafted magic decks just fine and thanks for talking down like I am mentally disabled...it was rather offensive.
