Stuck in Hell with Ellie

Currently stuck in a room in Hell with Ellie. There is a large demon and a small imp here. The imp and demon are at the center of the room. If I move into the same plane, either horizontal or vertical, the large demon charges and the room resets.

Any help?

hmm.. I found one hell boot, I see there's footsteps in the pink leading to something but i cant open it. I found the boot before I got stuck, but the oracle keep telling me I need to search what is out of view. I dont have a pickaxe so I cant open the ground. I dont have the option to move or get her to move

Can you please tell me what I'm missing?
