Please help: How do I access the personal phone ingame?

Apparently, the game is saved by accessing the ingame phone, but how is this done?

I'm on PC and used the right mouse click inside the screen, but I get nothing.

Just tried it, RMB (right mouse button) works on pc... also esc works for me... Note that this doesn't work inside some scenes, but works while in buildings, areas, and in the map, for instance. once in the menu, choose phone at top left. then save. There is also a button for exit/restart. Is this how you exit the game?

I did notice that the ESC button does open the phone screen during certain periods of the game. So I guess, you can't just quit anytime? It doesn't work in the police station. Is this normal?

If I'm in a building it works a lot of times, if there is a 'scene', not so much. I save almost every time I go outside and certainly before and after any selling session. AFAIK you cannot save during conversation either. Good luck

Whenever you can move your guy, you can also access the ESC menu and get to the phone.

Rule of thumb, if you can free move, you can access your phone and options, if its being guided, or during dialogue/scenes you have to get through them first.
